Welcome to the Soledad HOA Website
Welcome to the website of Soledad Homeowners Association. Soledad is an age-restricted, active adult community in Green Valley, Arizona, 20 miles south of Tucson. The Soledad subdivision consists of 93 homes and is part of the Las Campanas tract. Read More
The community is ideally located within walking distance of desert hiking trails, swimming and exercise facilities, a shopping mall and the library. Many homes feature spectacular views of the Tucson Mountains to the north and the Santa Rita Mountains to the southeast. Buffer zones of native desert vegetation provide backyard privacy for most of the homes.
Pride of ownership is evident here and is reflected in well maintained homes, yards and common areas.
The Soledad Homeowners Association and its committees oversee the maintenance of the common areas and rules regarding architectural modifications. A social committee organizes several well-attended social events each year.
Information about the Board and legal documents, including CC&Rs are in the Governance section of this website.
Access to the minutes of the Board, the newsletter and the calendar of meetings and activities is available only to homeowners, in the Members Only section of this website. For the password, contact the Webmaster or Board of Directors.
Soledad HOA Board of Directors has authorized the installation of a flagpole at the south side of the entrance monument. Tony Day is leading the effort to purchase and install the flagpole which will include nighttime lighting. Tony is collecting donations to pay for the flags, the pole, electrical lighting, and construction materials needed for installation. Tony estimates he needs $1200 for this project. If you can make a donation for this project, please do so to Tony Day at 1007 W. Mountain Stone Dr, or call him at 520-975-1882. Read More
Any excess donations will go to Soledad HOA for decision by the Board on how the surplus funds will be used.
Tony reports that four flag teams will be formed. Each flag team will have a three-month tour of duty with responsibility to manage the flag pole and flags. There will be one team each representing the Army, the Navy (including Coast Guard), the Air Force (including the US Space Force), and the US Marine Corps. ANY member of Soledad HOA can join any team of their choosing. During a tour of duty, the flag may need to be lowered or changed out. Additionally, the flag team may fly an additional flag beneath the US Flag such as their Armed Service flag or the State of Arizona flag or other approved flag. For details on how to join one of the flag teams, contact Tony Day.
If you can help with installation of the flag pole, contact Tony. Please let others in Soledad know about this project.
Tony’s hope is that this flag project will remind everyone, every day that we ARE UNITED under the flag.
